The all new Honu Bondi is a ground breaking inflatable SUP that's built for surfing! The design brief for the Bondi, was to produce a no-compromise inflatable SUP that would perform as close as possible to a fibre glass board. I took a pre-production board for a test drive and had a blast. Honu spent 18 months developing a board that would be really fun to surf on and they succeeded. The board is just 4" thick, constructed with X-woven material with Honu's exclusive Welded Carbon Rails for added stiffness. The Bondi is available in two sizes, 8'8 and 9'5. Both sizes feature a surfboard outline with a pulled in squash tail and plenty of rocker for late take offs. I rode the 8'8" and was really surprised how stable it was. The combination of large fins and generous width make it easy to paddle and a wave catching machine. The Honu Bondi delivers all the stoke of surfing with all the convenience of an inflatable board.
