Breaking Chords - Paul Gilbert-Style Arpeggios

Here's the next episode of Breaking Chords with 'Paul Gilbert-Style Arpeggios.' This lesson takes a look at several arpeggio ideas coming from guitar-meister Paul Gilbert. I've been a Gilbert fan since I was in high school and have endlessly worked on his mountain of music along with his rock-solid educational/instructional material. This includes his famous instructional REH videos from back in the day to countless lessons and articles from a variety of guitar magazines. Needless to say, I've been learning and practicing Paul Gilbert's musical ideas for decades. This lesson focuses on a series of minor and major string-skipped arpeggio fingerings that are common in Paul's playing style, but you'll also find a few famous arpeggio ideas originally performed on other instruments that Paul has adapted to the guitar. This lesson also includes a segment focusing on altering chords within a chord progression using string-skipped arpeggios, along with taking a brief look at Paul's nearly-famous "Taco Bell's Canon in D" which is his version of the famous Pachelbel's 'Canon in D.'
