I've been a Gilbert fan since I was in high school and have endlessly worked on his mountain of music along with his rock-solid educational/instructional material. This includes his famous instructional REH videos from back in the day to countless lessons and articles from a variety of guitar magazines. Needless to say, I've been learning and practicing Paul Gilbert's musical ideas for decades. This lesson focuses on a series of minor and major string-skipped arpeggio fingerings that are common in Paul's playing style, but you'll also find a few famous arpeggio ideas originally performed on other instruments that Paul has adapted to the guitar.
