Badass modular techno live set #1

I made this patch for a show at La Murisserie, Marseille. For this one I've used some vocal samples downloaded from the Splice platform, then made some patterns according to those on the Oxi One sequencer. Synths : The bass is the first algorithm on the MI Plaits, going through the Noise Engineering Ruina Versio for some subtle distorsion, then to the Make Noise Mimeophon for a flanger type effect. Amplitude is controlled by the TipTop Audio Z4000 enveloppe. Additional synths are coming from the Bastl Pizza Complex Oscillator, going through the MI Blades filter, with its frequency being modulated by the Make Noise Maths AD enveloppes. Amplitude is also controlled by Maths, thanks to the Intellijel Quad VCA. Main output is going to the Intellijel Sealegs delay, and the Octave output is going to a Happy Nerding FX AID XL for some tape echo effect. I'm also using the Atom Antumbra (MI Elements clone) as a sort of drone. Many of its parameters + gate input are being controlled/triggered by the Erica Synths Black Joystick 2. The Antumbra is also going through another FX Aid for some large spring reverb. All the synths are going to the SSF Vortices mixer. Drums : Kick, snare and hihats are coming from the Flame Instruments FIRE module, all controlled by a multitrack sequencer on the Oxi One. This is also triggering additional drums coming from my new WMD modules : Fracture, Chimera and Crucible. Those get some random modulations coming from the ADDAC Complex Random module. The kick goes to the WMD MSCL compressor, and gets more bass with the Befaco Hexmix EQ. All drums are mixed in the Befaco Hexmix ensemble, with some send/return reverb coming from a Happy Nerding FX Aid module. Octatrack : The OT, on top of providing the vocals, is acting as a mixer for the drums (main Hexmix stereo output going to input AB of the OT) and the synths (Vortices main mix output going to CD input of the OT). I'm using it for EQ and compression mainly, but also some delay and reverb. I had never really used the OT's compressor before, but it can definitely bring cool results with some heavy setting and a low mix value. I'm also using track 8 as a master track for additional EQing and compression.
