Jurors were also shown video footage of Hoare break down in a police interview as she denied any part in the crime and told detectives that the teenager from Bristol ‘did not deserve to die’. The couple are on trial at Bristol Crown Court accused of murdering nine-stone Becky after plotting to kidnap her to satisfy their shared ‘unnatural interest’ in petite teenage girls.
