The Beaumont Hotel & RV Park in Kansas! An old Dodge Truck, Rail Road History, & aviation history!

Here’s the first video from the Beaumont Hotel & RV Park we stopped at today in Beaumont, KS. This is the place we talked about tonight on the Sunday Night Live Chat! and it’s a super cool place! We went after a load of parts this weekend and stopped here for lunch on the way home! They only have one old truck, and it’s a 1952 Dodge. When I checked with management about the truck and asked if I could do a couple of videos, they told me the Dodge still runs and they use it for their maintenance vehicle around the property! Even though that’s the only truck in this video, there’s a ton of cool airplane and train history at this place! They have an airplane on display that has a VERY interesting history. The wooden water tower was built for the railroad in the 1880’s and it still stands today! The hotel was built in 1879 and is completely remodeled and fully modern. The really cool thing about this place is that if you’re a pilot, they have a grass landing strip and you can literally fly in, land, taxi down the street, park in a designated aircraft parking area, and go in for lunch (Be sure to watch to the end of the video)!!!!! Even though there isn’t a lot of cars or trucks in this video, I just thought it was a really cool place with amazing transportation history and I wanted to share it with everyone!
