I happen to realize that my laptop battery were swollen when my touch pad were not able to click. While my screen were always flicking once the charging cable were unplug. It started blinking when the battery falls to around maybe 60%, then 80% then 90% then now once it's unplugged, it will flick straight away. I read that this model has many such cases and changing the battery doesn't solve this problem. But since now that the battery is swollen, let's changed it. Bought this original ASUS battery ( what the seller claims it is ), I don't know how to differentiate if it's really original, But it works fine after installing it in, just that the flick starts when battery falls to 90%, unplugged. yes, Improvements but not solving the problem. I extended a 2nd monitor with the cable unplugged, but the extended monitor works fine, so shouldn't be a driver or software problem, the battery is new.... So.... was it the monitor?
