So the moment that we have all been waiting for has arrived. It's harvest time; our summer time favorites, are spread out in front of me, freshly harvested from the garden. Lovely zucchini, summer squash. Harvest them when they are this size. They are lovely and tender that way. Your aubergine eggplant, wait for a little softness a pluck them right off the trunk. Remember with basil, you just want to harvest individual shoots like that and let the plant rejuvenate. Tomatoes, you want to leave a little of that stem on your fruit so it can ripen a little bit more on your window sill. Remember with peppers, they actually go from green to red. So if you leave them on the vine for a little bit longer, they'll develop a sweetness for you. Beautiful cucumbers, don't let them develop that yellow cheek because that means that the seeds are maturing too much inside. You want them nice and tender. Semi-hot peppers, jalapeños, everything's there. So now that you've finished your harvest, it's time to prepare those favorite summer time dishes using the vegetables from your garden
