Here's another great tune from Cano's book of Galician tunes! It's a type of dance from Tarragona in Spain. It's a in a 6/8 time signature, so similar to a jig, and it's for a women's religious dance that features a single man leaping around them. There's a neat pause in each part of the tune and that would be for the dancers to stomp out three beats. Here's a video showing the dance in action along with the tune: • Moza no Adro The tunebook is "The Essence of our Traditional Sound" by Alexandre Cadarso Suárez [Cano]. It's a great resource on Galician music and especially on tunes for the gaita, the Galician bagpipe. Hit up my friend Kevin Carr on Facebook if you'd like a copy of it; he said he had a few left. Support my 365 Tune of the Day Challenge on Patreon and you'll get background info, source recordings, full fiddle lessons, and sheet music on the tunes! / devonlegertunes
