Trip to Aberdour

This day wasn't really planned. I don't mean that I didn't know what I'd be visiting once I arrived, because I just can't roll up anywhere without a plan. To be honest I didn't even know that this was A Place (TM) until few days prior when I opened Google Maps and started poking around places within a short train ride from Edinburgh. The tickets were cheap, the time to get there didn't take long, and that was a clear winner to me in my eyes. Sure, I was a little disappointed with how little there was to do, but hey, a half arsed plan usually brings this sort of feeling. And I sure as anything do love a half arsed plan! (Hey, it gives the trip a purpose with enough space for some galavanting! Leave me be!) And, once again, one of the Scottish places didn't fail to disappoint. In fact, this was one of those places that, despite (or maybe because of!) its size, has won me head over hills. My love for Aberdour started at its tiny and super adorable train station, and, I guess as they say, the rest is history!
