The Bronze Bream. This may be one of the most targeted species from the beach/rocks. The reason being, you don't need a R20k reel to land one like a big Grey Shark. You also don't need super human skills (or a drone) to cast out hundreds of meters to find one. We affectionately refer to looking for them as "scratching for Bronzies." The reason being, they are found close to the shore in and around rocks. In this video, legendary trace maker and pioneer, Ray Thompson delivers a trace like no other. It is listed as "Expert Level" and we don't mean that lightly. You may need a degree and 5 years experience at NASA to replicate this trace at home. BUT if you do manage to understand the rocket science behind this one, you stand a super chance of out fishing your mates when scratching for Bronzies.
