Hey guys!! So I have been playing with my AWESOME WRMK Foil Quill. Yep, awesome, I LOVE IT! BUT, I know some say "EWWW It voids your warranty" Sure, 1. IF YOU TELL =D HAHAHAHAHAHAA 2. If you screw it up and don't follow the directions and mash it into your mat. Letting it go round n round with nothing on your mat, just to say "UH LOOK I TOLD YA SO!" Be real, serious and an adult here, please. ;) 3. Leave it on for 3 years. Only have it on when in exact use, please see video 4. Just act like a ridiculous person. I like nice people who don't do any of this stuff =) Face it, it is NOT going to do ANYTHING, because I played and watched, felt with my FINGERS... OMG NO SHE DINNIT! Yes, I did, and I did it, BECAUSE I wanted to make CERTAIN that what I say and DO is the TRUTH! And that there really is not a way to damage our expensive machines. Besides, just watch and listen to the video. This really is a great product. ANd NO I AM NOT AN AFFILIATE. No one pays me, and I had to buy mine, and wait forever for it. =( Dang it anyhow =( Please note: the magnets are MY OWN. Not from anyone else, and they kinda sucked HAHAHAHAAA I need stronger ones, but I STILL prefer the other way! (see video) Please note, NONE of the parts, pieces, of the quill got HOT, only the very TIP, the gold part, which is supposed to, got HOT! So, as far as I can see, feel and tell, NOTHING is going to happen to your machine. BUT USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, is what I HAVE to say, because of the folks who do #'s 2-4 above=( I do HIGHLY recommend using a Power Bank, that is laid ABOVE your machine (see video) as that allows the cord to remain out of the way. Just make sure that bank will not fall onto your machine I wanted to show you ways that, if you are concerned, that you could protect your mat/machine from any and all things that have you hesitating. BUT JUST WATCH, and make up your own mind, please. =) Because I want all of you to have fun, but be safe. Remember, I got into this, a LONG time ago. I test FOR my members, not for a company. I tell the truth, painful or not. I stand behind what I say, but, in the end, what YOU do, is up to you. However, please go to the WRMK website, and look up the QUILL product, then look at the FAQ the warranty issue is there, with their response. But, a big, well known, well respected company, would NEVER put their reputation at risk, ever, putting a product out there that could cause a $300-$1000 machine to be ruined. Please also note, I have been messing with this for a few now, and have found NOTHING that worries me, BUT AGAIN, use as YOU CHOOSE or not. The foil is AWESOME, FULL COVERAGE, even with using the FILL, on machine! It gives TOTAL coverage, and you see me take my big ole hooves across it, quite vigorously, and without any care for the design protection......NOT ONE tiny flake came off. This, folks, just works! So, if Brother wants to be upset, well then, maybe they just need to get on their DEVELOPERS to work a little harder. I developed the: embosser, the scorer, the engraver, and many other SNC things, and I am sure there are other cool things in the pipe from others, WRMK sure did hit this one OOTP!!!! ;) But, our machines could be awesome........so, get in that lab Brother, or WELCOME others that do, Hmmmmmm, wouldn't THAT be totally different and bassackwards from ALL the other cutter companies?!?!?!?! Which, IS, what has set you off, and away, from the others in the past, BEING DIFFERENT! Now, let us add ABOVE, to that phrase! "OH, you have the BROTHER SNC?!?!?! That company WELCOMES TESTED products from other companies....because THEY are confident in themselves, what they do, make, and allow their customers to do. Dang! You are allowed to do it all, I can't. I have so many RULES. It makes creating NOT fun. I'm going to get a SNC!!!!" =D =D =D =D =D HAHAHA, that is just me being wishful. Have a great day guys!
