Bitbox micro is used to sample play two samples. The first one is the vocal sample played in reverse loop and than send via databender to cosmix. The second sample is a string sample I recorded earlier of of Disting EX. Kickdrum is coming from bitbox too. Castor & Pollux is used as an arp coming in half way. FXaid is set to Bloom reverbs and is used as a send effect into Cosmix. Mutable instruments Streams is set to 'Siamese twins' mode to use it as a stereo compressor. After Streams the signal is going to my audio interface. Only thing done in post is EQ-ing, compression and limiting. + + + + + + + + + B I O G R A P H Y + + + + + + + + + 'moi + mono' is the pseudonym of dutch media artist Alphonso Steverink. The project originated from the desire to make music in a more spontaneous and intuitive manner, rather than computer based music production stretched over a period of time. Instead the output of each session is recorded live and will be archived online.
