The Meaningful Stitch - Episode 1 - A New Beginning

It can be a tricky thing knowing where and how to begin, but here we are - arriving at a new beginning, and I am incredibly grateful that you have chosen to meet me here. In today’s podcast I’m sharing with you my knitting projects past, present and future, and you can find all the details for those below. I also draw a card from the Sacred Rebel Oracle deck by Alana Fairchild and I read a beautiful blessing from John O’Donohue’s Benedictus called (appropriately enough!) For A New Beginning. I also mention another book of his called Anam Cara, as well as a book by Barbara Walker called Mosaic Knitting - a wonderful treasury of stitch patterns for further explorations into mosaic knitting. Just before I give you all the details for the projects that I cover in this podcast, I will just correct a few of mistakes that I made in my recording... 1. Snaeldan is from the Faroe Isles not the Falklands - but it does contain some Falklands wool blended with the Faroese. 2. Letho is knitted in Ullcentrum Yarn - not Snaeldan! 3. Holst Garn is a Danish company not German. My inner perfectionist is being very noisy, but I’m trying to ignore her and be kind to myself. This is, after all, my first podcasting effort. But please do accept my apologies for any confusion.
