I've been lost and in love with books even more so and I haven't really stopped to record anything. But over the last year or so, my love for reading just got stronger and stronger and my book collection got bigger and bigger, so I thought it's time for a reading nook! I want to make it fun and whimsical and colorful, but most of all: attainable and affordable! A lot of what you see in the video is either thrifted, used or given for free. A lot of my books have been great finds from library sales or Little Free Libraries in my area. The bookshelf is from FB marketplace, not sure the brand. The decoration is either handmade, thrifted or gifted from my local Buy-Nothing groups. I'm really passionate about achieving your aesthetics and cultivating your hobbies in a sustainable way. While buying books new is great, I know a lot of people read them once and it'll be sent to the donation bins after a while. So if you're interested, look at your local thrift stores and FB marketplace or Buy-Nothing groups for any treasures!
