Today we're taking a locomotive from Basel to the largest marshalling yard in Switzerland, the Rangierbahnhof Limmattal, near Zürich. In a later video, we'll be continuing on with the coaches from there to Freiburg in Germany. There are a few interesting things to see along the way. First, the beginnings of the work on the new bridge connecting Basel GB to Muttenz, which has since been completed. You can also see the old Bözberg tunnel, which was only recently closed. Unfortunately the air conditioning (which I used to cool the camera) interfered a bit with the sound. I tried to make it as bearable as possible with an equiliser. It's only intermittent, however if you can't stand it, I'd recommend turning the sound off and maybe playing some music. Under optimal circumstances, this trip would've been possible in about 45 minutes, but we seem to be behind something slow.
