In this video, I do use a repair kit for my rearview mirror. It's made by Permatex. I'll be repairing my rearview mirror on a 1988 Firebird. This is the same process for all 3rd gen 82-82 Camaro and Firebirds. Pretty much all GM cars and trucks use the same rear view mirror tab/button, and all F-Bodies 1967-2002. Mine was knocked off by my head in my minor accident a couple months back. It's a easy job. I've had to do this on a couple cars in the past. This job should only take about 10 minutes. You clean, prep, and adhesive.
