Flying To BANGKOK For STREET FOOD

In this video we're starting our next long-term journey - first stop: BANGKOK! We love Bangkok and since being here in 2016 we've always wanted to go back again - especially for its STREET FOOD. After arriving in Bangkok and completing all entry requirements (see our comments on this down below) we made our way to Convent Street to eat some great street food at a night market. On the next day we first went to Chatuchak Weekend Market to try some more street food: delicious Pad Thai and Panang Curry. We then took a break in Chatuchak park, before heading to Chinatown for dinner. First we found the popular (and Michelin guide recommended) sweet street food snack Patongo. Patongo is fried dough dough topped with sweetened condensed milk (other toppings are available). We then found a great stir-fry place that's also home to "the flame". Overall - great first 24 hours in Bangkok! What's next? We'll be spending a few weeks in Thailand, before continuing to our next country in Asia, which will probably be Sri Lanka. And then? We'll see! Subscribe to our channel, if you want to see videos of our upcoming trip! https://www.youtube.com/zoeandsimon?s... We're visiting Thailand with the "Test & Go" program, which is unfortunately on hold at the moment. But Thailand might open it up again soon, so be sure to check the official websites regularly to stay up to date. With the Test & Go program we needed a negative PCR test to enter the country and we also needed to apply for a "Thailand Pass". To apply for the Thailand Pass we needed to book a Test & Go package with a certified hotel. This package includes a one night stay, a PCR test on arrival, transportation to the hotel and three meals for our stay. After receiving the results of the second PCR test, we were free to travel around the country (as long as the regulations in the region allow this). 5-6 days after arrival we'll also need to take another PCR test (free of charge) and upload the result to the official Thai tracking app. Overall everything went pretty smoothly and we felt that the program makes a lot of sense during these times. So hopefully the program will be resumed soon!
