Hi guys Roo from PreparedCamping, Today I'm cooking chicken and rice with a polish mess kit on a folding multi fuel stove using wood as fuel Ingredients; 240g chicken breast 80g bacon lardons 140g white basmati rice 1 clove of garlic half a medium onion stock or stock cube herbs to taste ( I used a mix of thyme, sage and oregano plus dried chilli flakes) 500ml water Chop the ingredients and add a little oil to a pan 1. Seal the chicken and add bacon ( I nearly forgot and had to add later Doh!!) 2. Add onion and garlic sweat them for a few minutes 3. Add stock and seasoning to suit 4. Add rice and continually stir to prevent it sticking to pan when the water has been absorbed by the rice its ready to eat!
