SST Shaft Pureing vs Spine Aligning

In this video we are showing the difference between just spine aligning and SST Shaft Pureing. We also show how the new automated SST machine not only Pures the shaft, it measures the torque of the shaft and how strait a shaft is. Shafts are not made perfectly round and strait, if every shaft was made perfectly strait and round we could not afford them. Steel shafts are wrapped and welded so there will always be a spot in the shaft that has a dominant side to it because of how they are made. Graphite are made in section referred to as flags and there are targeting certain flex profiles so many graphite shaft will have a dominant side as well. Regardless of graphite or steel SST will find the optimal playing position. SST not only allows us to NOT install a shaft that may be a little defected from the factory or beyond our companies tolerances that we allow. We can also start to understand which company have really good quality and tolerances You will notice on the spine tool nothing is exact not do we know what we finding. Hard side or stiff side of the shaft or is the softer side of the shaft. Is it the most consistent part of the shaft? We do not knowing using this tool. With the SST Machine we have a flex test done 360 degrees of the shaft and we will know where the hard side of the shaft is and where the soft side is and the key to this is it does it while loading the shaft like it would have in a swing. It will then flat line osculate with the hard side forward(all of this has measurement and a print out showing how much it moved it by degrees and percentages) Then the straightness and torque test are done. This allows us to make a set of golf clubs really consistent in feel, flex and flight. As this is part of our process we do with every club we build. This insures us to find any shafts that are not made properly or to insure that all the shafts flex as consistent as possible. We have over 100 tour PGA tour players that use this in there shafts, so the system has proven itself and we do not pay any player to use it
