If you find yourself in a unit that requires the use of this ACH and does not allow the use of an aftermarket ballistic helmet don't stress it there are a couple of mods that you can make to this helmet so that it is more comfortable and more functional. Oregon Aero Helmet Pads & Chin Straps and the Ops Core Chin Strap are the two mods that you can make to the helmet for the comfort piece. Both companies have exceptional products. The helmet pad system is like putting a tempur-pedic bed around your head, and the ops core chin strap wont itch and scratch like the standard issue one it comes with.
