‪@Gridlife‬ Circuit Legends at Lime Rock Park this year was a great time! We managed to see A LOT of our wheels around the festival and got to catch up with Ben from ‪@GearsandGasoline‬ to talk about his MR2 Spyder Build that they brought to Gridlife this year! This MR2 has come A LONG WAY since the time Ben purchased it. Now, it's a fully-built track car that races in the wheel-to-wheel #GLTC series. Running an oddball of an engine setup, this MR2 features a 2AR-FXE engine out of a Camry Hybrid, with a Scion TC 6-speed transmission, and custom parts all around. Most people would K-Swap in a situation like this, but the guys at Gears and Gasoline decided to stay as Toyota as possible, with help from builder ‪@FrankensteinMotorworks‬ !
