I tried Gyfin with less ap and it was still pretty good. Didn't use any type of fancy buffs like event(except the scroll of sangdo arts (+ 5monster ap) - forgot I still had it on) or nw buff. For artifacts you could also just stick with the kama ones - I was just too lazy to change it xd. Don't forget tl can differ a bit by the amount of butchers you get. I hope people with lower gear can relate to a video like this a little bit more so I can show what is possible even as a "gearlet". I didn't take my dp off but it wouldn't have mattered anyways since I didn't get hit by anything - the only scary thing for people with lower dp are the butcher spawns.
