As a solo artist and chamber musician, Jose Franch-Ballester travels the world working in new venues and with new orchestras, chamber groups and other soloists, alike. Jose's practice regime is grounded in tuning his instruments and always knowing where his colleagues are in pitch and intonation. In this video, Jose describes the process he uses to tune his instruments and prepare for performances. Two iPads with individual tuning programs and a lot of practice go into his work.
