The Band and Bugles of the Rifles performing a Sounding Retreat marching display on the Seafront Greens as part of The Littlhemapton Armed Forces Day event 2022 on Saturday 25th June at 1320. The Band and Bugles performed a Sounding Retreat with the following programme of music: 00:25 Marching Through Georgia and Dixie 02:40 Copenhagen 04:50 Lines of Torres Vedras 07:57 Paint It Black (Red and Green) 10:56 Bugle Fanfare 12:41 Brydon Doubles 14:21 Zorba The Greek 16:48 Mechanised Infantry The Band and Bugles were led by the Senior Bugle Major Colour Serjeant Daniel Lewis who also designed this year's Sounding Retreat display. A special note must go to the lower brass section of Bass Trombones and Tubas at the start of 'Zorba the Greek' and throughout 'Paint it Black' for them sounding absolutely epic!
