The narrator, a pair of bespectacled eyes on the page, really really wants the book to have only boring things in it. Like a grey cardigan. Or a potato. But the reader can’t help but put weird and wonderful things on every page, frustrating the narrator till the end. This book is super silly - but very enjoyable to read and read aloud. We started Tippy Toes Nook for our neurodiverse son Ari. He loves books, stories, reading, read loud books channels, and learning through play. He also loves it when Mum reads his stories so we wanted to put all his favourite books into a channel dedicated for him, as read aloud and read along stories. The name Tippy Toes Nook means so much to us. Our son was diagnosed with ASD just a couple of weeks before his third birthday - and walking on his tippy toes, his never ending book obsession, and his love for play is what lead us down the road and opened our minds to neurodiversity. We are also in the process of decorating a small sensory nook and that is what completed our channels name.
