Going on sale with Broad Arrow Auctions next week is Sir Sean Connery's own 1964 Aston Martin DB5. He made a few specific requests including the deletion of the wing mirrors which I didn't even notice because the old fashioned styling of the cabin provides such amazing visibility. The DB5 feels like an old friend having driven one in the last three James Bond movies and to drive one that was owned by a former 007 was a special moment, thank you to Broad Arrow for the awesome opportunity. This was one was tuned to perfection by RS Williams and is such an easy car to drive with a cheeky snap of power and smooth cornering. And that lovely smell of wood and old leather really teleports you back to the 60's.
