Oh god where do I even begin with this level. Many know I've been going for this for quite some time, and may even remember my progress videos from around 2021. My actual history with this level is much different as I was kinda obsessed with Distraught ever since I first saw it. I loved the song, the gameplay, the decoration. The only issue? I'm too bad at the game to beat it. After 2.2, I decided to try the level again briefly, and noticing I was actually capable of doing decently on the level, I wanted to give it a shot once and for all. This was in February and life decided to be much harsher in the following times (thanks university), so I dropped the level for sometime. After beating SPEEDRUN I decided to go for this and finish it once and for all, and hell I did. Now about the level, probably the best way this level can be defined as is as a "90 second long choke point". Probably the part everyone hates the most is my favourite in all of the level. I love the first cube, it's actually sorta consistent (except for the 2% blue orb and 17% jump) and really nice to pull off. The part I mainly had problems with was Voltex's ship transition, which ended up never becoming consistent at all, and to which I died to about 10 times. Overall the level is great and I would reccomend if you don't really mind several incosistencies. This is definitely my hardest and I don't think I'll go for anything harder anytime soon, I'm content enough with this.
