In this beautifully animated series of videos on the nature and flow of compassion, the Compassion Research Lab reveals the heart of compassion from the perspective of kids, teens, their parents, and their healthcare providers. These six short video will introduce you to the characters of the Compassion Research Lab who will serve as a personal guide in walking you through our model of compassion which illustrates the key components of compassion and how they fit together. Compassion is, a beneficent response that seeks to address the suffering and needs of a person and their family through relational understanding, shared humanity, and action. Whether you are a healthcare provider caring for patients and families, a teacher looking for ways to teach students about the importance of compassion, or you personally know the power of compassion in providing healing in the midst of suffering—these evidence based videos will help you to not only understand compassion but to put it into action in your everyday life.
