A truss is an assembly of beams or other elements that creates a rigid structure. In engineering, a truss is a structure that "consists of two-force members only, where the members are organized so that the assemblage as a whole behaves as a single object. What is a Pratt truss? If the force in all the diagonal members are tensile while the forces in all the vertical members are compressive, the truss is called a Pratt truss. Pratt truss can be designed for a length of up to 40 meters.
