Trail Run: Timms Creek - Mount Fell, Mount Richmond National Forest

Mount Fell (1,602m) is one of the highest peaks in the Mount Richmond National Forest, offering a 360° panorama of the Richmond Ranges, Wairau Valley and Tasman Bay. From the Timms Creek car park on Te Rou Road, a track goes up the true right of the creek. From here a marked route leads up to Mt Fell Hut. From Mt Fell Hut a poled route traverses tussock tops and rock along the Richmond Range. Follow the poles along the ridge to the right to Mount Fell. Mount Richmond Forest Park spans several regions and comprises most of the steep native forest-covered mountain country between Nelson and Blenheim. There are also areas of commercially forested pine plantations on public land. Run on Saturday 23 July 2022
