I think we can all agree how frustrating this current pandemic is. It is hitting all of us in so many ways, and I am at lost of words on how I can even express my feelings and emotions. Luckily, I have art to confide in. A huge thank you to my beautiful friends, Artem Prokopchuk & Madeleine Skippen, for making “Unmasked” come to life! Total disclaimer, I choreographed on these two dancers with respect and in a strict social distancing manner. They also live together, hence it was all a safe “pas de deux.” A huge shoutout to Sonja Kraft, the Bundesjugendballett costume interpreter, for making the masks that we used for filming. A lot of work was put into making this happen, and I am full of gratitude to my friends (involved on and off of the film) who continue to inspire and always believing in me.
