Today Alison shares how to make fun animal shaped food for kids to enjoy! Grab the kids and get them in on the fun of creating food art. What are your favorite animal shaped foods to create? Let us know below! Penguin Sandwich: First we've got a cute penguin sandwich. Use wheat and white bread to create the contrasting colors and grab a mason jar lid or different size measuring cups to cut out circles in the bread. Add sandwich filling of your choice and a small slice of carrot for the beak! If you've got edible eyeballs go ahead and add those (if not the carrot works well for improvised eyeballs as well)! Serve and enjoy! Dolphin Fruit Snack: Grab a banana and cut in half. Take the half with the stem and slice the stem down the middle to create the dolphin's mouth. Place the sliced end of the banana in a small bowl or dish and surround with grapes to hold it up. Use a magic marker or sharpie to create the eyes and give the dolphin a grape to hold in it's mouth for the final touch! Serve and enjoy! I'm Alison and I upload to Millennial Moms every Friday!
