Singer and bassist, Eric Arsnow always wanted to write a new wave record after growing up inspired by bands like The Cure and Joy Division. In college, he was introduced to even more underappreciated bands like The Chameleons and Sad Lovers & Giants while working at a local record store. Fast forward to 2023, he caught The Chameleons first Milwaukee show and after the concert, songs started pouring out. Voice memos were made with a bass guitar that outlined a whole record in a couple hours. Eric reconnected with guitarist Jason Kartz who added guitar parts to the demo “Fade,” quickly turning it from a sketch to something inspired.
