Blossoms sat down with the Manchester Evening News What's On Editor, Jenna Campbell, to chat their new album, their massive Wythenshawe Park gig, and how far they've come since starting out at Night & Day cafe in the Northern Quarter. Blossoms, the Stockport band formed of school friends Tom Ogden, Joe Donovan, Charlie Salt, Joshua Dewhurst and Myles Kellock have enjoyed widespread success. Their 2016 debut ‘Blossoms’ topped the album charts for two consecutive weeks and went on to earn the band BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominations. With four studio albums under their belt, several sold-out tours and a legion of loyal fans to boot, they’ve come a long way from their early days gigging around Stockport and Manchester. And on Sunday, August 25, they play their biggest headline show of their career to date - a 30,000-capacity outdoor concert at Wythenshawe Park.
