Here's a video demonstrating a simple taping technique to stabilise/splint the toe in an acute plantar plate tear  ✔️ A plantar plate tear may present as a progressively deviated toe (e.g. Cross over toe), pain, or swelling of the toe joint. This may be secondary to a bunion/hallux valgus deformity.
