The Theater open in 1926 as a single auditorium theater. It was owned by the same families (Karski and Kaliski) for nearly 90 years and is now on assignment to the current tenant Renaissance Rialto in 1980. A renovation, as well, took place in 1980 costing $3.5M. The balcony was split, store front opened and the single auditorium become a 3 screen multiplex.
