Best RC Battery Tester RC Basics In this video I will discuss and demonstrate the best radio control (RC) battery tester, a Tenergy 5-in-1 digital battery capacity checker. This battery tester is part of RC basics for any pilot flying lipo battery powered aircraft. In short, this is a "one stop" battery capacity checker controller tester for RC pilots; the best RC battery tester. The tester and its built in battery voltage monitor works with lipo, life, nimh and nicad batteries. Note that the nimh voltage monitor has a separate plug at the upper right of the unit. The key point is this RC cellmeter gives you an immediate check of the health of your batteries. This compact device is a "must have" item for your field box. You can quickly plug in a lipo battery balancer connector to the RC battery tester. The tester puts a small load on the battery, thus no need for external power. The tester automatically detects and displays the correct battery type, and shows the percentage battery capacity. In addition the tester shows the individual cell voltages and difference between the cells, a key indicator of any potential battery problem. The unit has additional features to allow for balancing, discharge, a resistance check and servo checker. The vast majority of modelers will use this for the percentage of battery power remaining.
