This week on Sunday Longplay, it's another game from the glory days of arcades, ported to the modern generation through the Sega Ages series of classic titles on the Nintendo Switch. Welcome to Virtua Racing! I still remember my first exposure to this game as a kid. Back in the days of video rental stores, Blockbuster Video used to have its own video game tournaments. My brother and I competed in one, and one of the featured games in the tournament was Virtua Racing on the Genesis. Racing games weren't exactly my brother's forte, so I smoked him. The Switch port of Virtua Racing remains true to the original arcade, though with aliased flat shading, online play, and 1080p 60fps.
