A quick tune from the workshop on a recent practice set I've had the pleasure to make for the Glengormley School of Traditional Music. This set is right handed and as I play left handed the bag is upside down here :) www.gsotm.org for lessons Alexander's Hornpipe There is a great version of this tune on the album Drops of Brandy by Uilleann piper Seán McAloon who was from Co Fermanagh and lived in Belfast for many years. Thanks to Brian Connolly of the Belfast band Craobh Rua for giving me this album a long time ago. Seán McAloon made a significant contribution to traditional music making uilleann pipes and reeds for many people and also played the fiddle which can be heard on that album.
