And I for one still know who are the traitors and who heroes forever. I'm not lost in faith, I know who I am, I carry the love for my homeland in my heart. Therefore to "Death to fascism!" I answer "Freedom to the people!" (4) I clench my fist and hold it against my temple, because the world will be better when a partisan can give a carnation to his girl. This year will be ours, ours will be spring this year, it will be good to be young and full of hope. Tell the fighters of today how we, the partisans, fought for the future and not the times past. Brought together from all directions, into the hearts of the forests, we dreamed about building a better future when we return home. Tell how we didn't know there were fascists among us, who became communists to then be capitalists. They destroyed everything we worked for.
