The film then documents the journey starting from Vaqueria, initially descending briefly before continuing the two-day ascent to the highest point at 3750m on the Punta Union mountain pass before descending to the beautiful valley and ending the trail at the town of Cashapampa. While many choose to complete the trek in the opposite direction, the trail starting from Vaquería allows you to acclimatize slowly while also rewarding you with the spectacular views of the giant snow-capped mountains of Huascaran National Park. Footage shot on DJI Mini 2 drone and Sony ZV-1.
