Building A Modular Model Railway! - Episode 11: How To Make Platforms

In this layout update I figure out how to make platforms for the Modular Model Railway! If you saw my recent series of Livestreams you'll have noticed there's been some big changes on the Modular Model Railway. Now that I have the point motors working I've been able to move onto the station scenery and where better to start than with the Platforms! I've constructed these out of foamboard strips with a layer of filler over the top to create a tarmac surface. I also had a lot of fun doing the stonework for the edges of the platforms, building on techniques I used when I was constructing the tunnel. Nevertheless things don't always go to plan and halfway through this project I did change my mind about something. You'll have to watch the whole video to see what that is and how I adjusted things but I definitely think the end result was worth it!
