Dr. Gregory Jicha serves as the clinical core director of the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Jicha also holds the Robert T. and Nyles Y. McGowan Endowed Chair in Alzheimer’s Research and is a professor and vice chair for academic affairs in the department of Neurology. Today he is at the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging annual Mind Matters Health Summit, speaking about gut microbiomes and their relationship to the brain. Dr. Jicha will discuss how gut microbiomes can affect our health and cognition, how we can improve our overall gut health, and what the current research says about the gut-brain connection.
