I came across these adorable lapwing chicks and their parents and was able to record almost the first moments of three newly hatched lapwing chicks. Their soft, downy feathers and tiny, wobbly legs made for an endearing sight as they explored their surroundings. The attentive parent lapwings can be seen nearby, keeping a watchful eye on their fragile young ones. One even came very close to me making sounds which seemed like a good scolding to me, for disturbing their precious ones.The parents' gentle care was a testament to the strong bond between lapwing families. Notice how the small water bowl looks huge in comparison to their miniature size! One brave chick takes a tumble, almost losing its balance while trying to take a sip. But don't worry, it bounces back up, shaking off the mishap. I am so proud of him. I tried to capture this heartwarming scene with the beauty of new life and the tender care of the lapwing family.
