The buildings they work on range from a Jewish synagogue, to a Sears department store. The film was likely made by the Hirth marketing team, or possibly the owner, to promote the company as it features a wide array of equipment, from trucks and cranes to drills. The film shot scenes of a demolition outfit with dump trucks and pavement breakers. The film also features various equipment from Ingersoll and Rand. (1:00) Men posing in front of a new Ingersoll Rand compressor or concrete pump. (1:38) debris removed in a large container by crane. (1:51) a high school auditorium exterior. A billboard comes on screen, advertising the famous 400 train of the Chicago and Northwestern railroad (2:05). Men working sign on a public road (2:20) where an excavataion is taking place. A jackhammer in use (2:30). Possibly shot of downtown Milwaukee (3:59). Heller's The Bargain Center of Wisconsin (4:06). Equipment operating in the snow (4:30). A sign for P.W.A, Federal Emergency of Public Works, underneath it reads Wauwatosa Senior and Junior High School (4:57). Appears that the school is being torn down and expanded. A Sears Roebucks and Co retail store is shown being demolished (6:57). At (7:49) men are shown at work on railroad tracks. Milwaukee Road #153 steam locomotive appears on screen (7:18). At (9:40) African American construction workers are seen moving debris. Jewish day school and synagogue project. A billboard for Milwaukee Greater Temple and Bens Zolonky Construction Co. designed by Mendal Guckman and Paul Marzaller (9:46). A 1940’s Chevy pickup truck owned by the Lonn Bros Heating Contractors (9:59). A street with the barber, a hot sandwiches store and other stores (12:10). Besinger Recreation Bowling alley is demolished (12:18). M. Carpenter Baking Co. (13:25). Shorewood-Public School (13:58). Liberty State Bank (14:50). The film ends (15:35).
