Florin Marica, better known as DJ Marika, is one of the first DJs, producers and promoters who got deeply involved in the Romanian underground music back in the 90s. Tripwerk is a new project of fellow compatriot artist Reasonandu. He inspires from many music genres when making his tracks, blending the best electronic sounds and vibes. Together, DJ Marika and Tripwerk combine different sounds and ideas for a new and fresh sound on the Romanian music scene. Their sound wouldn’t be complete without the rugged touch of Junkyard – a voice that remixers had a play with and came up with some unique sides of a story best said on the dance floors. The feel for the EP is one of pure electronic sounds, a back to basics look on what a EP should sound like. Hipsterium is really a state of mind, it is also intertwined with distinct remixing sensibilities done by Manuel Riva with his deep tech feel, Planet H’s heart pumping bassline and Unu’s stomping electric touch that turn this EP into a statement of this generation.
