Hygger Titanium Aquarium Heater with IC Temp Controller Review and Setup (50 WATT MODEL)

Hygger Aquarium Supplies develop many products from lights, tanks, filters, and in this case.....Aquarium Heaters. They offer a variety of heaters including betta heaters, titanium heaters, glass heaters, large heaters, heaters with external controllers, and more. In this video we're going over the Hygger 50 watt titanium heater with a IC Temp Controller attached along with a Temperature Probe to ensure accuracy with heating. It is a super simple setup but placement is key as with any heater. The best visual appearance is to hide the heater in some fashion behind plants or decor, or if you're lucky, in a sump or inline. As some of you know, none of my tanks are heated. I regulate room temperature to keep my tanks within spec. With the exception of keeping the corydoras and axolotl temperatures lower than the other tanks by placing them further from heat vents. This Hygger heater is a very nice design. The power cables are thick to handle the electrical current. The probe doesn't feel cheap. The heater feels heavy and quality built. The controller is much similar in having a little weight to it. The controller is very easy to control to change temperature, set temperature, and change from C to F. Hygger did a great job with this heater design. I will be using mine to keep my tanks from dropping below the threshold I try to achieve. Thank you for watching!
