The Quran Gate is located less than ten meters from the tomb of Khajavi Kermani, as well as less than five hundred meters from the Jahan Nama Garden and less than a thousand meters from the tomb of the famous Persian poet Hafez Shirazi. Shiraz used to have 6 gates; Quran Gate, Isfahan Gate, Saadi Gate, Ghasabkhaneh Gate, Kazerun Gate and Shah Daei alah Gate.
