Windblown is the new game by Motion Twin, the original developers of Dead Cells (not the current ones, as they are called Evil Empire), the game will be released on October 24th in EA version. My own thoughts on this game after I have played 123 hours of Dead Cells: I am still quite unhappy about them terminating the development of Dead Cells, it is such an excellent game with great foundations that allows them to update the game forever. Which results in mixed feelings towards this game. On one side, I am really happy with Motion Twin making a new game and going to the 2.5D world. On the other hand, I kind of wish the game would crash and then they would go back and develop Dead Cells. Now about my opinions on this game: 1. They carried on the great hit feedback of Dead Cells, and it feels great when I hit the enemies with either a long range or a melee weapon. 2. They did copy some setups of Dead Cells as you can probably see, which helps to have a smooth transition. 3. Fluid movement, and I feel it's easier, we have to see when the game is released, I wish it was harder. 4. I feel like the level is too linear and lacks the complexity of the Dead Cells maps with multiple ways to exit, but it's only a demo, we have to see when the game is released. 5. Escape button doesn't pause the game completely. Alr, I will be reviewing Windblown when it will be released officially on the 24th, and see you then!
