A Few Metro North & Amtrak Trains at Breakneck Ridge

Originally was going to buff freights at Iona Island, but didn't get much action there, so instead we went to the very small station of Breakneck Ridge along the Metro-North's Hudson Line. Was here for about two hours. Very special catch in this video: The first Amtrak train is Empire Service #253 from New York-Penn to Albany-Rensselaer which had three MARC cab cars attached in the back! I do regret not panning for this shot. The second Amtrak is the southbound Adirondack #68 from Montreal, Quebec to New York-Penn. I apologize for shakiness in the first several shots. It was incredibly windy and I'm pretty sure there was something funky going on with my tripod. That's why I switched to handheld for the last three trains (wish I had done handheld the whole time). This is a very unique station. The platform is literally only twenty feet long and it's wooden. You'll see in the video. But it's a great spot to railfan. would like to come back here for a longer duration one day!
